My own vocation and ministry springs first and foremost from living out my baptismal call from Christ Jesus himself, which has been nurtured and challenged by a vast array of people and experiences in my life from dealing with death of my younger brother Luke in 2013. My life was also deeply formed prior to these insistence by years of working with the homeless poor and disabled both developmentally and mentally. I continue to be reminded that these people gave more to who I am than I could have ever have been able to do for them. This has awakened within me the questions of how I could serve people in other ways as I serve Christ also, which eventually led me to discern a vocation to priestly ministry. Has a bishop, I also wish to help those who feel the call in ministry, to help fulfill those calling that God has called them to do as well.
